遊戲橘子旗下手機遊戲《天堂M》中文版，官方於 9 月 26 日搶先公開事前登錄日期，遊戲預定將於 10 月 10 日雙十國慶日，在 《天堂M》官方網站正式開放玩家申請。

同時，《天堂M》也將與集團旗下群眾募資平台群募貝果及新媒體酷瞧合作，9 月 28 日起於活動網站推出「《天堂M》夥伴召集令」活動，為玩家找回昔日天堂盟友、夥伴、網公與網婆。只要活動網站集滿「100,000 個力量」，酷瞧將啟動「尋人任務」並派出節目製作團隊，實際走訪台灣各地，為熱門排行榜上幸運的玩家，找回當年的天堂夥伴。

蘋果公布HomePod的韌體（firmware）程式碼後，外界從中推敲出不少iPhone 8玄機，包括iPhone 8前置和後方相機鏡頭，可能支援4K解析度60fps功能、可能具備智慧鏡頭功能、可能建立臉部掃描運作Apple Pay支付的機制。
國外科技網站Appleinsider於3月中旬報導，美國專利商標局（US Patent and Trademark Office）先前公布蘋果一項專利，內容顯示蘋果可透過臉部辨識功能，自動解鎖或是鎖住iPhone。
彭博（Bloomberg）在7月初就報導，蘋果正在測試革新版安全系統，可讓使用者透過自己的臉，登入、驗證支付及啟動安全應用軟體。

官方表示為歡度國慶日，《天堂M》特別選定於 10 月 10 日凌晨零時整點開放預先登錄，而在「預先登錄」開放前，《天堂M》官方網站也將於 9 月 28 日起推出「ID趣味占卜」活動，透過輸入未來遊戲中想使用的「角色ID」、「職業」與「性別」，系統將為玩家占卜出該「角色ID」未來在遊戲中的命運，協助玩家提前為角色取名做好萬全的準備。
